Counseling is a second career for me. After a long career as a police officer, God’s calling on my life was very clear. I retired and returned to school to obtain a master’s degree in professional counseling. With Liberty University Online, I was trained as a Christian counselor. My area of specialty is counseling Public Safety Employees/First Responders, active and retired, and members of their families. I am married to a retired, career-officer, so I have also seen much from a spouse’s perspective. I offer EMDR, as well as other types of therapy, depending on what a client’s needs are. I offer in-office sessions and telehealth (online) sessions.
Most clients tell me that they wish they had not waited so long to attend counseling. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
